Hakodate is a coastal city located on the Kameda Peninsula in the southwestern part of the Oshima Peninsula, southern Hokkaido, Japan. It serves as the central city of southern Hokkaido, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Tsugaru Strait to the south, and Hakodate Bay to the west.

CLIMATE
